The CASI are internationally acclaimed for producing professional, knowledgeable snowboard instructors.
CASI snowboard instructor qualifications are recognised around the world and could see you working in New Zealand, Australia, USA, Canada, Europe, Japan or South America.
CASI-ACMS (Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors - Association Canadienne des Moniteurs de Snowboard) has 4 levels of certification. Check out the CASI page here for more info on their association!

6 Week SHREDucation CASI Level 1 & Level 2 Snowboard Instructor Course
Our most intensive level 1 & 2 instructor training course. To give you the best chance of success, it’s suited for the more confident rider, with just 7 in a group, you get max attention from our exceptional Rookies training crew.

5 Week SHREDucation CASI Level 3 Snowboard Instructor Course
Rookie Academy's “POWER” course, to give you the best chance of success towards the CASI 3 certification. The CASI 3 are tough exams, so you’ll be shredding extra hard with our awesome trainers. Begin with a skill-focused week with world class international Rookies Trainers and then into the CASI 3 course, after the course, 3 weeks of targeted CASI SHREDucation on Treble Cone’s challenging terrain to prepare you for the CASI 3 exam.

4 Week SHREDucation CASI Level 2 Snowboard Instructor Course
Rookie Academy’s entry into SHREDucation, the goal here is not to just pass the CASI 2 — but to develop understanding of CASI snowboard technique, teaching methodology, and refine of analysis abilities. Three weeks of solid SHREDucation at Treble Cone, followed by the CASI 2 exam.

We know this is the perfect duration of time, our talented Rookies Trainers can develop you into a good rider and teacher before the Level 1 exam. It will certainly help to be a strong intermediate rider - It’s our trainers goal to, even on your worst day, you will have the riding and teaching skills to pass the Level 1 exam.

Safety, fun and achievement are the rules of the game - our trainers are the best in the business and are experts at creating a learning environment that will help you achieve your goals.

Skills based training.
Building skills and versatility is the foundation of our ski & snowboard instructor courses. We help you create an understanding of what the ideal is, which in turn helps identify what skills need developing and lastly we tactically apply these skills to a given situation. This on-snow training is backed up with off snow clinics and technical analysis sessions.

Training 20+hrs a week.
We train 4 days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Each training day consists of a morning session, lunch break and an afternoon session. Mornings tend to have a more technical focus with the afternoons being more about mileage and using awesome terrain to challenge your skills.

Passion for teaching.
At Rookies we’ve delivered over 29 years of superb ski training excellence and knowhow. Teaching is a skill you must master in its own right - any professional instructor must have a passion for teaching as much as they do for skiing or riding. At Rookies you will develop the essential skills required to become an inspirational instructor.
