No matter where you’ve skied around the world, we all agree that it’s hard to beat “Japow”. Japan also offers amazing technical skiing terrain where you can rip on the groomers and moguls - and what’s more, there are completely uncrowded slopes and no lift lines!
HOKKAIDO: We will be based around Niseko, with various options to ski 2-4 different ski fields. Hokkaido Island is Japan’s coldest region, often described as Japan’s “Powder Capital”, typically enjoying the highest amount of dry powder snow in Japan. Our focus is developing fundamental skills for all types of terrain and snow conditions. With two great bases we can enjoy the best Hokkaido has to offer with amazing terrain to challenge you. With years of local experience, we know many places that will thrill our Rookies as we tour the different ski areas… tree and treeless back country skiing in stunning mountains close to our bases, for those who don’t mind walking for their reward of steep and deep.
TOHOKU: in the heart of Tohoku, Japan, is the region's pristine snow-covered slopes that offer an unparalleled skiing and training experience. Our most intensive level 1 instructor training course. To give you the best chance of success, it’s suited for the more confident skier (basic parallel), with max 8 in a group, you get individual attention from our exceptional Rookies training crew each day. We focus on developing strong skill fundamentals and taking you into all mountain terrain and of course the famous Japow, that’s big time skiing.
It’s our Trainers goal, too… Even on your worst day, you will have the skiing and teaching ability to be successful.
