  • Why I love Treble Cone

    - It’s a real skiers mountain that keeps you honest.

  • Why I love working for the Rookie Academy

    - Working alongside so many top trainers from around the world makes a great working environment. It’s inspiring and motivates you to become a better skier and trainer.

  • What’s one piece of advice to anyone trying to improve their skiing?

    - When you learn something new, it may not feel as comfortable as what you would normally do. But it’s the experimentation and trying new things that will make you progress.

  • What keeps you motivated to keep pushing your skiing?

    - Each time you feel an improvement in your technique, it’s a huge buzz that reinvigorates your skiing passion.

  • What’s one of your memorable skiing experiences?

    - Off piste powder skiing in Valloire France, with the whole side of a massive mountain all to yourself and coming across herds of wild Chamois.

  • What type of gear do you ski on and why?

    - I ski the “All Mountain” ski from Augment, made in Austria.

Augment skis come in 10 different flexes, so I have one ski for teaching and off-piste skiing, and a stiffer pair of the same ski, for turning it up on the groomed runs.
