CASI (Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors) has 4 levels of certification, at Rookies, we offer snowboard instructor training courses to help you achieve your Level 2 and Level 3 certifications.

  • Be you a Boarder or a Skier the Rookie Academy has the greatest success rate in New Zealand. This fact will resonate massively when you turn up for your exams as the candidates from other academy?s always commented on how prepared we are.     Graham Reed - 11 week Snowboard

CASI Level 2

You should take this course if you are a Level 1 Snowboard Instructor with some teaching experience, love to teach, and have a desire to take your teaching skills to the next level. You should be confident and comfortable demonstrating intermediate to advanced riding in the corresponding terrain.

CASI Level 3

You should take this course if you are a Level 2 Snowboard Instructor who has a desire to take your teaching skills to new areas of the mountain and have an interest in learning to train fellow instructors.

3 Week – CASI Level 3 Course and Exam

You already have a Level 1 and you’re ready for the next step?

START: 24th July 2021
END: 14th August 2021
TRAINING: 60+ hours of on-snow training
ABILITY: Level 1 CASI certified instructor, or Level 1 certified instructor
PRICE: $6,800

This 3 week snowboard instructor course is designed for strong riders who want to progress beyond their level one qualification.

Already have your Level 2? Here’s a great opportunity to get your Level 3 in a 3 week course.

START: 14th August 2021
END: 4th September 2021
TRAINING: 120+ hours of on-snow training
ABILITY: CASI Level 2
PRICE: $11,900

The 3 week programme prepares you for and includes the CASI Level 3 exam
*Optional 2 Day Park Level 1 $500nz
