Finding an Early Edge Change.
Using the side-cut of your snowboard is fun. Especially when you can achieve a nice edged or carved turn.
First of all an edged turn requires increased speed. To manage the increased pressure acting on you and your equipment; an early edge change through your turn is necessary.
As you ride across the hill on your up-hill edge you need to project your Center of Mass into the new turn. You can do this by moving toward the nose and across the board to the new edge. Body Movements should be focused in the knees and ankles with a strong Core.

Set and feel for the new edge before you reach the fall-line. Look and align your hips through to the completion of your turn with a flexed stance.
Your goal is to change edges before the fall-line and leave a thin track in the snow!
