The Only BASI Instructor Course in New Zealand:

Get yourself dual snowboard instructor qualifications. The Rookie Academy, the British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI) and the New Zealand Ski Instructors Alliance (NZSIA) offer you the opportunity to become a BASI instructor and gain a NZSIA qualification in 13 weeks.

The Rookie Academy is the ONLY New Zealand based snowsports training provider to offer both New Zealand Snowsports Instructors Alliance (NZSIA) and British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI) qualifications.

You would suit this course if:

• You are a INTERMEDIATE or above rider.
• You are prepared to participate in demanding 13 week program with over 62 days (300+ hours) of on-snow training included in this is 19 days of either SBINZ or BASI exams.
• You want to push yourself both mentally and physically.
• You are looking to challenge your riding technique in a variety of terrain and conditions.
• You are interested in working in both Southern and Northern Hemispheres.
