Part-time Ski Instructor Training Course -- NZSIA CSI -- Wanaka, New Zealand
8 days of training spread over a 6 weekend period, starts on the weekend of the 7th July with a 2 day orientation and finishes on the 12th August.
Take your skiing to a new level and get a qualification that sets you up to train for a stage 1 instructing qualification.
The new Certificate in Snowsports Instruction (CSI), developed by the New Zealand Ski Instructors Alliance, is now a mandatory requirement toward becoming a certified NZSIA instructor.
It's also a great introduction to what instructing is about and a good goal, if you feel your skiing needs work before you can think about getting qualified.
You would suit this course if:
- You are a BASIC INTERMEDIATE or above skier.
- You are looking to become a more confident skier on Treble Cone.
- You would like to see if teaching skiing is right for you.
- Planning a Northern Hemisphere winter OE.
- Want to ski with a group of similar level skiers
Our intensive part time ski instructor courses have been designed to improve your skiing skills to a NZSIA Stage 1 standard, and also introduce teaching and progression techniques. Our intimate local knowledge of Treble Cone New Zealand will ensure you enjoy your time on this awesome winter playground!

- 8 days of ski training over 6 weekends

- All ski instructor courses are designed to prepare you for NZSIA CSI Exam

Registration: Meet on the balcony outside the Treble Cone Cafe between 9am and 9:30am on Saturday the 7th July
Further training will be available towards the NZSIA Stage 1 Exam at the completion of the 8 day course. this will be discussed with all course participants after the CSI exam. |
