The Rookie Academy and the British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI) and the New Zealand Ski Instructors Alliance (NZSIA) are delighted to offer a 13 week ski instructor course, offering you the opportunity to gain dual ski instructor qualifications.
The Rookie Academy is the ONLY New Zealand based snowsports training provider to offer both the New Zealand Snowsports Instructors Alliance (NZSIA) and British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI) qualifications.
You would suit this ski instructor course if:
- You are a INTERMEDIATE or above skier.
- You are prepared to participate in demanding 13 week program with over 62 days (300+ hours) of on-snow training included in this is 19 days of either NZSIA or BASI exams.
- You want to push yourself mentally and physically.
- You are interested in working in both Southern and Northern Hemispheres.
- You are looking to challenge your skiing technique in a variety of terrain and conditions.
- You are interested in meeting different people from different cultures that share your passion for skiing.

The New Zealand Rookie Academy 13 week dual qualification ski instructor courses package includes:

- NZSIA CSI exam

If you have successfully completed all of the training with us you will receive a Rookie Academy certificate of attendance detailing the amount and variety of training you have received over the last 13 weeks, the certificate is also there to be used with any job you may apply for as it shows the depth of training you have received.
