Getting to Keystone and Getting Around While You're There

What's The Easiest Way To Get Yourself To Keystone? And How Do You Get Around When You Are There?

A combination of regular flights and shuttle buses makes getting to and around Keystone very easy.

Getting to Denver International Airport:

There are few if any direct flights from Europe/U.K. and Asia/Australasia to Denver:

  • If you're coming from Europe/UK you'll likely need to go via New York, Washington or Chicago. Talk to your travel agent about options.
  • If  you're coming from Asia/Australasia then prepare yourself for the special experience that is entering the US through LAX.

If you've got the time, you might want to try a road trip from either coast -- see a little bit of the states before you start your training.

Getting to Keystone From Denver:

Regular shuttle buses run between Denver and Keystone. All shuttles provide comfortable, fast (1.5 - 2 hrs) and convenient service to and from the Denver area. Two options to consider:

  • The Colorado Mountain & Resort Express (CME) bus takes you directly from Denver International Airport to Keystone ($26.50 in 2006).

(Note: The CME often offers discounts to resort staff, which intern course participants will be able to take advantage of. We'll let you know closer to your arrival about the discount code.)

Call +1-970-926-9800 or 1-800-525-6363 or visit www.ridecme.com to book your seat on the CME bus.

  • And the Resort offers a similar service.

Call 1-800-334-7433 once you are in the US or visit www.resort-expresss.com to book your seat.

Driving?

Keystone is 90 miles west of Denver: take 1-70 to the Silverthorne/Dillon exit (#205) then turn left (east) on to Highway 6 and it's another 6 miles into keystone.

Getting Around Keystone and Surrounds While You Are On Your Course

Your season pass entitles you to use the free bus system that links all five mountains and surrounding areas. The bus runs 24/7 and stops right outside your intern accommodation, at the mountain, and close to many of the shopping districts around the Dillon, Silverthorne area.

From the base of Keystone, a free shuttle runs to and from Breckenridge, Vail, or Beaver Creek, allowing easy access to all of the ski hills in Summit County.

Each course has limited numbers. Book now.
