From dry slope beginnings in Scotland, Ben has been chasing snow all over the world since leaving school. Getting into teaching and coaching at an early age, Ben spent multiple seasons progressing his skills to become internationally certified (BASI ISTD) and selected as a BASI Snowboard Trainer by the age of 22. Balancing a full-time economics degree over the last few years with a lot of snow time meant more than a few lectures done over the laptop..

During the little time not spent on a snowboard, Ben most likes to loosen off the feet on his surfboard and skateboard. Ben spends a lot of time swimming, and enjoys a lot of different sports - though has made a decision to spend more time on the golf course next winter in NZ, Deano watch out!
