A track record of ski training and snowboard training success
Ski instructor and NZSIA examiner Dean Hunter established the New Zealand Rookie Academy at Treble Cone New Zealand in 1992.
As a New Zealand Ski Instructors Alliance (NZSIA) examiner, Dean has over 30 seasons experience at Treble Cone New Zealand, and an amazing passion and energy for students participating in New Zealand Rookie Academy snowboard instructor and ski instructor courses.
Ski instructor and NZSIA examiner Garett Shore participated in one of the early New Zealand Rookie Academy Ski instructor training courses, and joined Dean in developing a training operation that is recognised for it's quality snowboard and ski instructor courses throughout the global snow sports industry.
This commitment to excellence has enabled the New Zealand Rookie Academy to maintain an 85% pass rate for students attending snowboard instructor or ski instructor courses in order to gain snow sports industry qualifications.
