The Rookie Academy CSIA courses are directed by Steve Smart a CSIA level 4 examiner for 17 years and a 4 time member of Canada’s elite Inter-ski team.
You would suit these courses if:
- You have achieved the CSIA level 3 certification or the foreign equivalency offered by the CSIA
- You are prepared to participate in an intensive 5 weeks of training with over 120 hours of on-snow training plus more than 10 hours of off-snow CSIA workbook sessions.
- You are interested in working as a ski instructor in Canada or other countries that recognized the ISIA (International Ski Instructors Association) standards.
- You want to progress as a professional ski instructor.
- You are looking to challenge your existing skill level.
- You want to be a part of the international ski instructor fraternity that the Rookie Academy can offer you.
The Rookie Academy 5 week ski instructor courses package includes:
- Season pass to Treble Cone ski area
- Door to door transport to & from the Treble Cone ski area for 5 weeks
- Accommodation for 5 weeks
- 100 hours of on snow, ski training 5 hours a day - 4 days per week
