Qualified BASI Level 3 instructor? Like a short cut to the next level of ski instructing? This 4 week BASI training course gives you intensive training designed to prepare you for the BASI ISTD qualification.

Director of Training for BASI for 10 years, BASI Trainer and Tutor for BASI
Coaching Modules, BASI ISTD and Level 3 coach. Diploma in Sport Coaching.

Course Requirements:

Come to the course fit and ready to ski a lot. The program can be physically
demanding -- we recommend fitness training designed to build strength,
endurance and flexibility.

Course Outline:

Week 1

Skill development drills and movements

Week 2

Developing Elite performance in the strands Bumps, Steeps, Variable, Piste Performance.

Week 3

Consolidating skills

Including afternoons of Giant Slalom training.

Week 4

Peaking performance

Each week will include 2 evenings of Physical and Psych training

The Rookie Academy 4 week BASI ISTD ski instructor courses package
includes:

• Season pass to Treble Cone ski area 
• Door to door transport to & from the Treble Cone ski area 
• Accommodation for 4 weeks 
• 80 hours of on snow, ski training 5 hours a day - 4 days per
  week
• Technical skill development to ski confidently on a variety of
  terrain 
• Video analysis and debriefing
