The Rookie Academy's Mont Sainte Anne courses are directed by JF Beaulieu a CSIA level 4 examiner for member of Canada’s elite Inter-ski team.
You would suit these courses if:
- You have achieved the CSIA level 3 certification or the foreign equivalency offered by the CSIA
- You are prepared to participate in an intensive 15 weeks of training with over 110 hours of on-snow training
- You are interested in working as a ski instructor in Canada or other countries that recognized the ISIA (International Ski Instructors Association) standards.
- You want to progress as a professional ski instructor.
- You are looking to challenge your existing skill level.
- You want to be a part of the international ski instructor fraternity that the Rookie Academy can offer you.
The Rookie Academy 14 week Level 4 ski instructor courses package includes:
- A lift pass valid for duration of stay (7 days a week, valid when night skiing is available);
- Door to door transport to & from the MSA ski area for 14 weeks
- Accommodation for 14 weeks
- 110 hours of on snow, ski training
- Video analysis and debriefing
- Some of the best trainers in the industry
- Ski tuning and boot fitting clinics
- 10 hour of specific coaching per week with Jf Beaulieu and Dan Renault
- Opportunity to shadow Jf Beaulieu during Mont-Sainte-Anne Wintersports
- School staff training as much as you want
- 2 Giant Slalom training sessions of 2 hours per week
- 4 Gs Races with level 4 pacesetter to prepare for exam
- 5 hour of training with John Gillies, CSIA Eastern Program Director during the season
- Ski Off practice to prepare exam with other candidates
