12 Week Snowboard Instructor Course - SBINZ Stage 1 -Wanaka, New Zealand

Learn to ride all the mountain and the park with style... and get yourself qualified as an instructor in 12 weeks...

You don't need to be an accomplisher boarder to become a snowboard instructor. Twelve weeks riding Treble Cone under the guidance of our trainers turns intermediate borders into instructors.

Why 12 weeks not the 8 week option?

Even if you are already an advanced border, there is nothing like a little more time on snow to really improve your skills.

If you can ride to a basic intermediate level, you can get yourself a SBINZ Stage 1 instructor qualification with this 12 week snowboard instructor training course. Three months enjoying Wanaka gives you time to cement the changes required to be successful in the exam.

You would suit this course if:

• You are a BASIC INTERMEDIATE or above rider.
• You are prepared to participate in a fun 12 week program with over 48 days (240+ hours) of on-snow training.
• If you want longer to prepare your technique and teaching for the SBINZ Stage 1.
• You are looking to become a more confident rider on all terrain.
• You are wanting to go at a slow pace having more time to enjoy Wanaka and it’s surroundings.

The Rookie Academy 12 week snowboard instructor courses package includes:

• Season pass to Treble Cone Ski Area 
• Door to door transport to & from the Treble Cone ski area 
• Shared accommodation for 12 weeks 
• 240 hours of on snow, snowboard training 5 hours a day - 4 days per week
• SBINZ CSI Exam

Rookie Academy Certificate:
If you have successfully completed all of the training with us you will receive a Rookie Academy certificate of attendance detailing the amount and variety of training you have received over the last 13 weeks, the certificate is also there to be used with any job you may apply for as it shows the depth of training you have received.
